This Matthew Milia solo session was recorded by John Krohn in the hot Lansing summer of 2007. Matthew was subletting a very small room in East Lansing upon returning from a semester abroad in Ireland with Anna Burch. The band was preparing to record The Orion Songbook and Matthew was already collecting tunes that would appear on releases such as Deadmalls & Nightfalls and beyond. This was recorded at Krohn's home studio in Lansing's Cherry Hill neighborhood, Deep Deep Pink, that was a bit of a base for the band through the years.
